I graduated in 2016 with a double master’s degree: in Mechatronics Systems Engineering from ESTIA, France, and in Computational and Software Techniques in Engineering, with a focus on Computer Vision, from Cranfield University, UK. I then completed a PhD within the Unmanned Autonomous Systems Laboratory in Cranfield’s School of Defense and Security, working on visual perception for autonomous driving. Following this, I worked as an algorithm and software engineer for the automotive industry in Continental Engineering Services for nearly three years. I am now a postdoctoral research associate in Heriot-Watt’s Institute of Sensors, Signals and Systems, looking at deep learning techniques for healthcare applications.
