I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of St Andrews in 2025. Following this, I spent a year working in the Robotics and AI sector as a Software Engineer, where I developed and tested legged locomotion strategies utilising novel actuators.

My PhD project focuses on the use of spiking neural networks (SNNs) and Bayesian filters within an underwater object detection and tracking pipeline. The goal of this research is to enhance the computational efficiency, the detection and tracking accuracy, and the autonomy of the system.
