Event-cameras stand as a novel sensing technology for imaging at high speeds and with large dynamic ranges. In contrast to classical frame-based cameras, their only record significant intensity changes via so-called polarised events. We have been developing model-based and data-driven approaches to extract information from such leading-edge detectors.

Among other projects, we have used event-cameras to detect and track high-speed particles for microfluidic system characterisation in HowellLabOnChip_2020.
